About the position

The Field Marketing Specialist (Western) at Kubota Tractor Corp is responsible for identifying growth opportunities within the Sub-Compact, Compact, and Utility Tractor (CUT) segments. This role involves providing market intelligence, assisting dealers and Kubota personnel with marketing efforts, and supporting the implementation of the CUT business plan. The specialist will also conduct training, analyze market trends, and act as a liaison between various stakeholders to enhance the CUT product line's performance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, monitor, and report on the CUT market including sales performance and competitive strategies.
  • Provide CUT market intelligence including trends and competitive pricing.
  • Assist in completing, implementing, tracking, and reporting the CUT Business plan.
  • Provide training on CUT products and markets for dealership salespeople and new Kubota employees.
  • Assist dealers and Divisions with marketing efforts to promote the CUT product line.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and increasing profits for assigned dealers and RSMs.
  • Act as a liaison between RSMs/Divisions and the Corporate Office regarding CUT products.
  • Assist in planning, implementation, and reporting for product & customer surveys.
  • Support and attend trade shows, sales meetings, and dealer meetings to promote the assigned product line.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agribusiness, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an Agricultural Machinery Business or a similar discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of assigned product line/market or ability to be trained rapidly.
  • Mechanical aptitude including the ability to operate equipment within assigned product line and/or willingness to learn.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in product demonstrations and training.
  • Familiarity with competitive analysis in the agricultural machinery sector.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from $67,680 to $82,720 per year.
