About the position
The Customer Solutions Specialist at Parts Town, also known as the Parts Expert, plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service by assisting with pricing, quote generation, parts identification, shipping, tracking, and returns. This position requires stellar communication skills and a strong attention to detail, as the specialist will handle a high volume of inbound calls and emails while ensuring customer satisfaction and upholding the company's high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pricing, quote generation, parts identification, shipping, tracking, and returns.
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls (50-70 per day) and emails while delivering exceptional customer experience.
- Process customer requests, including order entry, order status updates, part number identification, and returns.
- Collaborate effectively with customers, manufacturers, and internal departments regarding customer needs.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a face-to-face or over-the-phone customer service role.
- Stellar organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, and computer skills.
- Ability to handle a high volume of in-depth calls while maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications.
- Positive, outgoing, team-spirited personality with strong communication skills in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in the restaurant equipment or appliance parts industry.
- Knowledge of original equipment manufacturer parts.
