About the position

The Self Storage Manager at Public Storage is responsible for overseeing multiple storage facilities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the properties. This role involves assessing customer needs, managing inventory, performing daily inspections, and handling financial transactions. The position offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity for performance-based bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Work independently at multiple locations, both inside and outside.
  • Assess customer storage needs and suggest appropriate solutions, including selling packing and moving supplies.
  • Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability.
  • Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily operations.
  • Assist customers with payment reminders and collection calls when necessary.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain property appearance.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service or sales environments such as retail, restaurant, or service-based companies.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to use personal vehicle for travel between locations.
