About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Knox County Sand & Gravel, a division of Rogers Group, Inc., is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing customer orders and dispatching trucks. This role requires a motivated individual who can multitask effectively and perform clerical duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, professional, and thorough customer service
  • Answer customer calls
  • Take and input customer orders
  • Dispatch products and material for delivery
  • Assist in processing paperwork for corporate accounting systems such as accounts payable, equipment usage, etc.
  • Assist sales staff with customer service responsibilities
  • Assist Admin Coordinator in filing and getting proper approvals on reports
  • May be called upon at the discretion of Managers to perform other duties

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen
