About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Omega Flex is responsible for providing exceptional support to customers and outside sales representatives. This role involves handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to customers via phone, in-person, and electronic media.
• Provide customers with pricing on inventoried products.
• Review, maintain and update contract requirements.
• Respond to all customer requests in a timely and efficient manner to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Process all orders, credits, RMAs, and complaints using Omega Flex methods and procedures.
• Ensure prompt delivery or response to customers' requests.
• Work with manufacturing to relay customer needs and expectations and provide feedback to customers.
• Support outside sales force through pricing, mailings, and communication.
• Prepare and file all sales orders, order acknowledgments, and engineering reports.
• Perform a variety of other tasks incorporating a high degree of creativity.
• Work closely with engineering, shipping, and manufacturing departments to ensure quality customer service.
• Utilize an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System to enter orders and track inventory.

Requirements

• Must have advanced typing skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a high proficiency in English.
• Customer service experience.
• Various clerical skills with attention to detail.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Suite (especially Excel).
