About the position

As Brady grows our presence in the Atlanta area, we are looking for an accomplished Customer Service Representative to be a part of our burgeoning customer service team at our Duluth, GA facility! As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide new and existing customers with the best possible service in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions and complaints to provide the best-in-class customer experience that Brady is known for.

Responsibilities

  • Managing phone and email customer interactions from start to finish including customer consultation, quotation, order management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Developing relationships with customers and providing an unrivaled customer experience through your working knowledge of Brady products.
  • Contributes ideas, decision-making skills and good judgment to achieve objectives.
  • Resolving customer inquiries and complaints from multiple channels effectively with moderate supervision.
  • Providing customers with product and service information and identifying application solutions to maintain revenue streams from customer relationships.
  • Assessing customer issues and identify resources and tools in order to provide solid solutions with an emphasis on minimizing customer effort.
  • Initiating process improvement through collaboration with peers, inter-company departments, and leadership.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum one year of customer service or equivalent job related experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous work experience interacting with customers.
  • Proficiency of phone-based customer service interactions.
  • Previous experience following standard work procedures.
  • Ability to problem solve, apply critical thinking and analysis.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to make decisions independently.
  • Ability to partner with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to successfully multitask while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Highly adaptable to a changing, fast paced environment.
  • Exceptional computer, web navigation, and data entry skills.
  • Basic math calculations (percentages, costs, tax, etc.) for order processing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with SAP, Salesforce and Google Tools preferred.
  • Open to observation and coaching.
