About the position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) - Lab is responsible for managing daily administrative functions at Laboratories Northwest, ensuring high-quality customer service while maintaining patient and department confidentiality. This role involves providing telephone-based support, documenting communications, handling specimen transportation, performing accessioning of specimens, managing lab orders, correcting billing errors, and maintaining courier vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide telephone-based customer service to clients.
  • Document communications with clients accurately.
  • Handle specimen transportation and ensure timely delivery.
  • Perform accessioning of specimens into the data management system.
  • Provide pricing information and place lab orders as needed.
  • Correct various report and billing errors promptly.
  • Maintain courier vehicles and dispatch couriers to clients.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Depending on assigned area, MA-P license may be required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a laboratory setting or providing customer service support.
