About the position

The Customer Service Representative at LAZ Parking is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers and clients while maintaining a clean and safe parking facility. This role emphasizes strong customer service skills, effective communication, and the ability to handle various tasks in a dynamic environment. The position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Assist customers in lobbies, lanes, and the parking office; help direct traffic.
  • Promote good customer relations by providing premier customer satisfaction.
  • Manage accounts in the parking revenue control system.
  • Assist with cashiering functions as needed.
  • Oversee general maintenance of the garage, including cleaning and trash removal.
  • Maintain and repair malfunctioning parking equipment.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills in the parking revenue control system.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Ability to handle challenging and emotionally charged situations.
  • Must be able to make decisions independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Cash handling experience.
  • Parking industry experience.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
