About the position

The position at Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) involves working at retail stations selling gasoline and convenience products. The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to safety and hygiene standards, and efficient handling of transactions. Employees are expected to maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional service while following company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain courteous, professional contact with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community.
• Support and follow established safety, security, and quality guidelines as well as CSI's policies and procedures.
• Report accidents or incidents to the manager immediately.
• Ensure food safety hygiene in accordance with county regulations.
• Follow federal law and company standards on carding customers for age-restricted products.
• Provide exceptional guest service and greet all customers.
• Conduct point-of-sale activities accurately and safely.
• Maintain cash drawer and perform cashier reconciliation at each end of shift.
• Perform consistent station cleaning of indoor and outdoor facilities.
• Prepare food and hot beverage products.
• Manage ExtraMile and/or KKC foodservice and beverages effectively.
• Promote store specials and marketing programs.
• Cross-check price of delivered goods for accuracy and distribute them orderly throughout the store.

Requirements

• Available to work a variety of hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
• Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
• Must possess required up-to-date food handling certificates, as required by law.

Nice-to-haves

• Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred.
