About the position

The Customer Experience Associate plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing friendly and efficient service at the front end of the store. This position involves greeting customers, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The associate is expected to follow company policies and procedures while assisting customers with their needs and resolving any concerns they may have.

Responsibilities

  • Smiles and greets customers, answers customer questions and helps resolve customer concerns promptly, in a polite and professional manner.
  • Operates front end scanning equipment and cash register, performing all related check out procedures.
  • Maintains accuracy during transactions, ensuring customers are charged correctly and appropriate funds are collected.
  • Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to assist customers effectively.
  • Responsible for general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and department guidelines.
  • Ensures smooth function of department and store by cooperating with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Utilizes all company provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

Requirements

  • Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without an accommodation.
