About the position
The Customer Account Coordinator at Georgia-Pacific serves as a vital link between the sales team, internal departments, and customers at the West Monroe, LA box plant. This role is essential for ensuring accurate order processing, delivering quality customer service, and managing deliveries effectively. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with a focus on maintaining high customer satisfaction and efficient communication.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts through proactive communication via phone and email.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to track inventory, order status, and other customer-related data.
- Enter orders, cancellations, and changes for multiple customer accounts accurately.
- Coordinate shipments of products with the shipping department.
- Follow up on customer feedback with Quality Assurance to identify root causes and offer solutions.
- Manage inventories for effective production review and planning.
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable duties as needed.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) daily.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience.
- Comfortable using all Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with record-keeping management/documentation.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and vendors.
Nice-to-haves
- Inventory management experience.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment in logistics, distribution, industrial, manufacturing, or corrugated/packaging industry.
- Experience using Kiwi, Kiwi FFF, and/or PCS.
- Associate's degree or higher.
