About The Position

Pedal Mafia is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Custom Sales Executive to expand our domestic custom apparel division across the United States. Reporting to the Custom Manager, this role is responsible for developing partnerships with cycling teams, private clubs, and retail partners while managing accounts throughout the custom apparel lifecycle. You’ll play a critical role in driving revenue, supporting project execution, and ensuring all custom orders meet Pedal Mafia’s premium brand standards. This position is ideal for a disciplined sales professional with strong B2B experience, deep knowledge of cycling culture, and a passion for technical performance apparel.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of cycling culture, racing categories, and club/team structures
  • Familiarity with technical performance apparel and garment construction
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects within a structured sales pipeline
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Passion for cycling and active engagement in the cycling community
  • Experience with CRM systems, Shopify, and Google Workspace
  • Ability to travel domestically for client meetings, fit sessions, and events
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods at events and trade shows
  • Ability to lift and carry samples or event materials (up to 25 lbs)
  • Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally
  • Flexibility to support events or client needs outside standard business hours when necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of sales or account management experience, preferably in custom apparel, cycling, or premium sporting goods

Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Market Growth
  • Identify and secure new partnerships with cycling teams, clubs, corporate groups, and retail partners
  • Execute targeted outreach strategies to grow Pedal Mafia’s presence in the U.S. custom apparel market
  • Consistently achieve sales goals within assigned territories or market segments
  • Account & Pipeline Management
  • Manage assigned stages of the custom client lifecycle from lead generation through final order submission
  • Coordinate product consultations, fit sessions, and design brief development
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and CRM updates to ensure smooth production handoff
  • Client Consultation & Relationship Management
  • Serve as a technical expert, advising clients on garment styles, fabric technologies, and fit profiles
  • Set clear expectations regarding design capabilities, production timelines, and order specifications
  • Build long-term client relationships that drive repeat business and account growth
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with design, production, and operations teams to ensure client requirements are executed accurately
  • Provide ongoing updates to leadership on project status, market trends, and process improvement opportunities
  • Verify all order specifications and technical details before production submission
  • Brand Representation & Industry Engagement
  • Represent Pedal Mafia at domestic trade shows, cycling events, races, and industry activations
  • Strengthen brand visibility and community engagement through in-person relationship building
  • Communicate industry insights and customer feedback to support product and sales strategy
