About the position
The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a part-time Custodian who takes pride in maintaining clean and well-kept areas. This role is essential for ensuring that the Community Activities Center is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for public use. The ideal candidate will enjoy working independently while providing excellent customer service to both colleagues and the public. The position offers a preferred hiring rate of $15.96 per hour, with the final salary dependent on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience, in compliance with City policy.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the Community Activities Center is cleaned and sanitized thoroughly.
- Maintain cleanliness in various areas as assigned.
- Provide excellent customer service to colleagues and the public.
Requirements
- Completion of the tenth grade or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license required.
