We're Hiring a Second-Shift Custodian (Full-Time, Year-Round)! Do you take pride in keeping things clean and organized? Are you a reliable team player who enjoys working independently? If so, we'd love for you to join our team as a Second-Shift Custodian! In this role, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our staff and visitors. This position will be working in Freeport, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas through tasks like vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and window washing.
- Ensure recycling bins in your area are properly managed.
- Collaborate with our team to address cleaning requests and complete special projects.
- Assist with seasonal tasks like snow removal (shoveling and sanding) when needed.
- Operate cleaning equipment like buffers, extractors, and auto scrubbers.
- Report any facility-related problems or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Uphold a safe work environment by following safety protocols and reporting unsafe situations.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality.
