About the position
The Custodial Technician is responsible for cleaning assigned areas property-wide at Treasure Island Resort & Casino. This includes completing cleaning duties such as maintaining restrooms according to standard operating procedures, following policies to ensure a safe environment, and reporting any hazards to supervisors. The role requires maintaining good working relationships and effective communication, informing management of any problems or equipment malfunctions, and keeping storage closets and equipment clean.
Responsibilities
- Complete cleaning duties including restrooms according to standard operating procedures
- Follow policies and procedures including maintaining a safe environment
- Report hazards to supervisors
- Maintain good working relationships and an effective line of communication
- Inform management of any problems, equipment malfunctions and/or hazards
- Maintain clean working areas i.e. storage closets and equipment
Requirements
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work fast and efficiently
- Ability to learn appropriate chemical usage and proper equipment usage
Nice-to-haves
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Previous janitorial experience
