About the position

The Cultivation Technician will perform essential manual labor tasks to support the growth and maintenance of cannabis plants. This role involves daily care activities such as watering, feeding, pruning, and cleaning, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company protocols. The technician will work under the supervision of the Cultivation Manager and is expected to continuously learn and apply best practices in cannabis cultivation.

Responsibilities

• Daily care of cannabis plants, including watering, pruning, and trimming.
• Fertilizing and providing nutrients to the plants according to cultivation protocols.
• Monitoring plants for signs of growing issues or problems; treating for disease or infestation.
• Ensuring accurate information is recorded in accordance with state regulations and company SOPs.
• Following directions provided by the Cultivation Department.
• Performing cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping.
• Maintaining and cleaning plant housing devices and tables.
• Reporting any issues to management for timely resolution.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Well organized with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team environment to achieve company goals.
• Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the company in cultivation skills.
• Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, and general computer skills.
• Full knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and requirements for cannabis cultivation.
• Must be compliant with all regulatory requirements for the cannabis industry.
• Ability to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions clearly and effectively.
