About the position
The Cultivation Production Specialist at Green Farms Medical is responsible for various critical tasks related to cannabis production, including harvesting, trimming, and packaging products. This role requires teamwork and adherence to quality standards, with a focus on maintaining a clean and efficient workplace. The position reports to the Production Manager and involves both full-time and part-time opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with harvesting cannabis.
- Trim and quality control bud.
- Bucking bud (removing the bud from the stems).
- Conduct cannabis testing.
- Perform Metrc work including creating packages, harvesting, creating manifests, and transfers.
- Maintain a clean workplace.
- Assist in cultivation as needed (e.g., transplanting, moving plants, cleaning grow rooms).
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Metrc experience.
- Testing experience.
- Experience with Radsource machine is a plus.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Prior experience in commercial cannabis or related industry.
- Must have a MED occupational badge.
- Physically able to work with hands all day, crouch, bend over, and regularly lift up to 30 lbs.
