About the position

The Cultivation Associate at The Good Dispensary is responsible for assisting with the coordination of all grow operations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This entry-level position involves various tasks related to the cultivation of cannabis, including potting, manicuring, harvesting, and trimming, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute production plans in accordance with the company's operating procedures.
  • Carry out daily assignments and tasks of the medical cannabis production cycle, including cloning and harvesting.
  • Responsible for cloning, cutting, transplanting, watering, labeling, and inventory data input.
  • Provide plant care during vegetative and flowering phases, including trimming, manipulating, staking, defoliation, and pruning.
  • Monitor plants and input inventory data.
  • Harvest plants, including cutting, weighing, and inventory data input.
  • Operate and maintain cultivation systems and equipment, stocking and handling production inputs and supplies.
  • Sanitize and clean growing rooms, cultivation workspaces, and tools.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow all safety and compliance protocols set forth by the Cultivation Manager.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check (no felony convictions).
  • Professional appearance, actions, and communication.
  • High energy and a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of cannabis, including cannabinoids, terpenes, strains, desired effects, medical benefits, and basic plant care experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 25 pounds when required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible and adaptable.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to positively influence people.
