About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Carbondale, IL 62901. This role involves interpreting physician orders, explaining procedures to patients, positioning patients for scans, administering contrast dyes, examining images, updating patient records, maintaining equipment, and managing inventory. The position requires a willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Compliance with facility requirements, including drug screening and background checks, is necessary before starting.

Requirements

Minimum 1-year experience working as a CT Technologist
ARRT(CT) certification
Current CPR/BLS Card
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
Must pass a drug screen and background check
Complete additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Nice To Haves

Experience with EPIC and Merge Pacs systems
Experience with Siemens scanners
Willingness to participate in on-call rotation

Responsibilities

Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional
Explaining what will happen during the CT scan to patients
Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images
Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging
Examining images to ensure they’re usable
Updating patient medical information
Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment
Keeping inventory of CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required
