About the position

The position involves operating Single Slice and Multi-slice Computed Tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional radiographs for diagnostic purposes. The role requires ensuring the safe operation of CT equipment while providing professional and quality care to patients of all ages, adhering to hospital policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate Single Slice and Multi-slice Computed Tomography (CT) scanner to produce cross-sectional radiographs of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
• Ensure safe operation and care of CT equipment.
• Expose patients to radiation for diagnostic information while maintaining safety protocols.
• Provide direct patient care to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric.
• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and standards in all duties performed.

Requirements

• California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology license (CT-RTT) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Certification through ARRT in Computed Tomography (Cat Scan) required.
• Previous CT experience required.
• Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications.

Nice-to-haves

• Minimum of two years as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
