About the position

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a CT/C-arm Technologist to join their flex team in Minneapolis. This full-time position involves traveling to outpatient centers in the Twin Cities, performing CT procedures, and working collaboratively with various team members and Radiologists. The role offers opportunities for skill development and training in CT modalities, with a focus on patient imaging and support.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and advanced CT procedures on designated portions of the body for diagnostic purposes with minimal supervision.
  • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications.
  • Prepare patients for CT or diagnostic and therapeutic injection procedures, explaining the process and providing support during the procedure.
  • Produce diagnostic images and perform quality control tasks as assigned.
  • Adjust scan parameters and utilize dose reduction techniques as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, patients, and family members.
  • Follow physicians' orders and safety regulations to ensure the safety of patients and coworkers.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Keep the work area orderly and clean to promote safety.
  • Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
  • Maintain equipment in good working order and assist in cleaning and disinfecting after use.
  • Help maintain an updated radiographic protocol manual and monitor medical supply inventory.
  • Assist in training new associates.

Requirements

  • Certification as a CT Technologist or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with C-arm technology.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with Radiology Information Systems (RIS).
