About the position

Prepares treatment medications, administers prescribed treatments and performs various departmental procedures and duties all under general supervision.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in the last quarter of an AMA approved Respiratory Technician/Therapist Program
• Possesses a valid temporary Arkansas State License
• Must obtain a permanent state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner within one year of graduation
• Near completion of a certification or registry program is required
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine
• Ability to exercise judgment and accept greater responsibility in therapeutic procedures based on patient observation
