About the position
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is an advanced practice registered nurse who provides anesthesia and pain care services across various settings. This role involves both autonomous practice and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care for patients of all ages and acuity levels during surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management procedures.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and pain management services to patients across various settings.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver holistic patient care.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients.
- Educate patients and their families about anesthesia and pain management options.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
- Current PA RN license.
- Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
- Healthcare Provider CPR and ACLS certification.
