About the position

The Material Recovery Facility Crew Lead oversees the daily operations of a recycling facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to county policies. This role requires strong leadership, technical, and communication skills, with a focus on safety and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises a team of 6-9 employees.
• Manages material flow, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeep.
• Prioritizes safety training and ensures a safe work environment.
• Maintains clear communication with management, staff, and clients.
• Possesses a strong understanding of recycling equipment and maintenance procedures.
• Adapts to changing situations and assists with sorting as needed.
