Strategic Home Media is a boutique Audio Visual - Security - All Around Home Automation Integrator that has been in business for over 18 years. We've got an opening in our roster and we're looking to add a low voltage technician with some experience in the low voltage - AV field to our team! Someone who is hardworking, honest and a go-getter will do well with us. Our home office is located in Kent Island Maryland but work all over the state of Maryland, Northern Virginia and in Washington DC. The right person will be knowledgeable and proficient in Crestron hardware and programming. Our projects range from luxury residential to medium commercial. Responsibilities
- Installation and maintenance of electronic equipment
- Custom Installation and setup of various hardware in finished and unfinished residential/commercial (interior and exterior)
- Install, configure, and test various surveillance hardware, smart-home gadgets, cabling etc
- Able to take direction and use cognitive thinking in order to complete complex installations solo or as a team
- Must be good at solving and complex installation configurations on the fly
- Pull and terminate cables
- Rough-in and finish work
Requirements
- Must have clean driving record
- Prior experience running and terminating RJ45, Coax and RJ-11
- Prior Experience installing AV industry products (tvs, racks, in-wall/ceiling items)
- Ability to follow instruction
- Excellent communication skills; strong customer service skills
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds; must be able to bend, stoop, reach, climb.

- Computer Networking and WiFi experience
- Control4, Total Control/ URC, Lutron, knowledge
- Camera NVR programming/setup experience
- DSC Security products experience
