About The Position

The Creeler is responsible for their part in the turf manufacturing process. This role involves loading and unloading yarn cones, tying cones onto the creel rack, counting and packaging finished yarn lots, and assisting machine operators and menders with tasks requiring multiple people. The position also requires maintaining a clean work area and performing additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• Experience in warehouse operations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Physical stamina and endurance, as it involves standing for extended periods, lifting, and moving heavy materials throughout the shift
• Ability to lift 15 pounds

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cones of yarn from the creel rack
• Tie cones of yarn on the creel rack for manufacturing
• Count and package finished yarn lots
• Assist the machine operator and mender with any work that requires two or more people to complete
• Maintain a clean and clutter free work area
• Perform additional duties and accountabilities as assigned
