TS Banking Group is seeking to hire a Credit Operations Specialist. This position is responsible for preparing loan documents and supporting documentation for all loan types in the Credit Operations department. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) along with additional bank-related training, and at least three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous job-specific experience is required, with a consumer real estate background preferred. This role is hybrid, open to applicants residing in the company footprint, including Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. The Credit Operations Specialist will process documentation for commercial, agriculture, and consumer loans utilizing the LaserPro system. Ensuring data integrity during file preparation is crucial, and the specialist will take action to correct errors, including dates, signatures, and other relevant data. The role involves obtaining information related to loan origination, which includes ordering credit, conducting UCC searches, gathering insurance information, and obtaining flood certifications. Additionally, the specialist will perform necessary loan maintenance, which includes handling payments, advances, generating client notifications, and processing loan payoff requests. Monitoring and reporting on requirements is a key responsibility, as is processing, recording, and releasing collateral liens for UCCs, vehicle titles, and mortgages. The specialist may also prepare and review reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis as needed. The position requires compliance with all banking and company regulations, policies, and procedures. The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and the general public. The role also requires proficiency in basic math and the ability to operate various office equipment and software programs.
