About The Position

As a Credit Associate, you will be assisting the Corporate Finance Manager and the Regional Finance Managers. You will direct and support credit and branch personnel concerning credit, collection, and financial matters across all Crescent companies. You will also act as a liaison between branches, collection agencies, and customers on collection issues. This is a hybrid role based out of Macon, GA.

Requirements

• Strong, comprehensive computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook products).
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under time constraints and against deadlines.
• Interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Self-starter.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to communicate (verbal and written).
• Two year Associate’s degree in a credit related field or a minimum of two years related credit experience.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred knowledge of Eclipse.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional working relationships with corporate, district and branch personnel to help support company and branch goals.
• Provide excellent customer service and timely responsiveness.
• Assist Regional Finance Managers and Corporate Finance Manager with Credit Department goals, legal issues, reporting, analysis and any special projects.
• Review accounts receivable aging monthly and coordinate corrective action plans as needed with District Credit Managers, Credit Managers, District Managers or any other party as required.
• Process new account applications and communicate application status to the branch.
