Responsibilities
- Verify and maintain accurate provider information in the credentialing database
- Ensure that all healthcare providers meet the necessary qualifications and standards to provide quality care
- Collaborate with the Provider Relations team to maintain positive relationships with our network of healthcare providers
- Process and track provider applications and re-credentialing paperwork
- Maintain knowledge of current industry regulations and standards related to credentialing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field
- 2+ years of experience in medical credentialing
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry regulations
- Experience with Medicaid and medical insurance
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding
