About The Position

Golden Reserve is seeking an experienced tax professional to establish and lead their internal tax support and preparation team nationwide. This is a player-coach position, initially dedicating 75% of time to tax support and preparation, and 25% to building the new team and department. As the team expands, the leadership and management responsibilities will increase. Golden Reserve is a full-service RIA and insurance firm committed to transforming the financial industry for both retirees and its employees. The company has rapidly grown to over 40 offices across 9 states and is continuing its expansion. This role will oversee the preparation of annual tax returns, provide ongoing real-time tax support, participate in events, and coordinate the development and growth of the tax department. Golden Reserve utilizes radio and television shows, seminar workshops, digital marketing, and exceptional client services for lead generation.

Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Five (5)+ years of tax preparation, accounting, and tax planning experience
• Excellent communication skills for managing and inspiring a team and clients.
• Management experience, including leading a multi-location team.
• GRIT: accountability, ownership, problem-solving, and toughness.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead an internal tax support and preparation team across the country.
• Manage the tax preparation of annual returns.
• Assist with ongoing real-time tax support.
• Partake in event participation.
• Coordinate the development and expansion of the tax department.
• Lead a multi-location team to drive process.
• Maintain and manage a growth culture with constant change.
