About the position

We are seeking an experienced CPA/Accountant/Tax Preparer to join our expanding public accounting firm in Woodland Hills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of tax experience and will be responsible for managing multiple clients' accounts in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure, especially during tax season.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare tax returns for multiple clients including individuals, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, LLCs, and Trusts.
  • Work directly with clients to gather necessary information for tax return completion.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including preparation of financial statements, payroll tax returns, and sales tax returns.
  • Process live payroll and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets for financial tracking and reporting.

Requirements

  • CPA certification required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of tax experience in public accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
  • Experience with Lacerte and Accounting CS preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and stakeholders.
