Responsibilities
- Bag groceries at checkout for customers, ensuring at least five items per bag without damage.
- Assist customers by removing merchandise from the bottom of the bascart for checkout.
- Help customers load bags into their cars.
- Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
- Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts to return them to designated areas.
- Clean spills and collect trash inside the store and parking lot.
- Clean all areas inside and outside of the store.
- Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
- Understand the store's layout to locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers.
- Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and notifying management of repairs needed.
- Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products.
