About the position

The Counter Threat Finance (CTF) Planner role at Amentum involves supporting U.S. Government Departments and Agencies in addressing national security threats related to drug trafficking, piracy, and organized crime. The position requires specialized knowledge in intelligence analysis, strategic planning, and operational support to enhance the effectiveness of counter threat finance initiatives. The CTF Planner will work closely with the Department of Defense (DoD) and other interagency partners to coordinate intelligence activities and develop processes that support national efforts against illicit financial networks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist DoD with coordinating and managing intelligence analysis activities, including technical analysis and operational business processes.
  • Establish repeatable processes to support DoD stakeholders and strategic planning necessary for drafting and delivering documents.
  • Provide key milestone and activity information for TFI analysis-related strategic planning efforts and tasks.
  • Support DoD in enhancing intelligence analysis review and integrating private sector best practices into operations.
  • Conduct baseline assessments of CTF/TFI analytic cells and support their mission goals and program objectives.
  • Assist in the creation of the strategic framework and plan for the cell, including synchronizing meetings and disseminating taskings.
  • Provide support in designing and developing a CTF certification program.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with ten (10) years of specialized experience or Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of specialized experience.
  • Finance-specific planning experience working with Interagency Partners.
  • Valid/active Top Secret/SCI Government Security Clearance.
  • Experience using the DoD Joint Planning Process to support interagency operations.
  • Experience working with financial and economic elements of national power.
  • Skilled in planning operations for U.S. national-level intelligence agencies.
  • Understanding of U.S. national efforts to counter threat networks through financial and economic elements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with Federal agency performance measurement and reporting requirements.
  • Understanding of the interagency intelligence cycle and relevant DoD intelligence policies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Additional certification such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) is preferred.
  • Certification, program support, and Intelligence Community experience are highly desired.
