About the position

The Cost Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering Corporate Tenant Improvement (TI) projects across Southern California, specifically in Los Angeles County and San Diego. This position requires a deep understanding of the construction industry, particularly in cost management and consulting. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of various projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and on schedule. The Cost Manager will work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide accurate cost estimates, manage budgets, and track project expenses. This role is essential in maintaining the company's reputation for delivering high-quality services to a prestigious client base that includes industry leaders such as Nike, Netflix, SAP, JPMorgan Chase, Fujifilm, and Blackstone. In addition to managing costs, the Cost Manager will be involved in preparing detailed reports and presentations for clients, providing insights into project financials and potential risks. The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various parties involved in the construction process. The Cost Manager will also be expected to stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure that the company remains competitive in the market. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial management of Corporate TI projects in Southern California.

Requirements

  • Experience in the construction industry with a focus on cost management.
  • Solid understanding of cost consultant responsibilities and practices.
  • RICS or equivalent accreditation is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
