About the position

The Cost Analyst will be responsible for managing the procurement and tendering process, preparing contractual documentation, controlling costs during construction, and ensuring the commercial success of projects. This role involves valuing construction work for interim payments, assessing claims for loss and expense, and agreeing on final accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction or a related field
• 2-3 years of relevant experience as a cost engineer/manager
• Experience working on project controls teams for large-scale projects ($2 million+)
• Expertise in Excel, including producing reports and graphs
• Skills in estimation, forecasting, and cost management

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Bluebeam and Procore is a plus
• Excel skills such as VLOOKUP and INDEX MATCH
• Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders including cost engineers, planners, estimators, project managers, and contractors
