The position involves reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of product cost of sales and program costs specific to engineering design and modification projects on a monthly basis. The role requires maintaining cost accounting records in consultation with Purchasing and Manufacturing Engineering to assure and maintain the integrity and control of systems and programs used to accumulate and report cost data. Additionally, the position includes analyzing material and labor standards for reasonableness and validating proposed cost changes to ensure correct valuation. The individual will provide a detailed analysis of manufacturing costs by product line, product market segment, and business type for management reporting, as well as support cost analysis on material, labor, and other indirect costs. The role also involves maintaining and updating the sales price list to ensure that standard costs and overhead factors used to calculate the price list for products are up to date, and performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
