The role involves providing legal counsel to healthcare clients on various business and regulatory issues, ensuring compliance with healthcare laws, and handling corporate transactions within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare law, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Advise health care clients on business, transactional, and regulatory issues.
- Provide legal analysis and advice concerning health care regulatory compliance.
- Handle a variety of healthcare business and operational issues, including patient care matters.
- Engage in general transactional work, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation, and conducting due diligence.
- Review, draft, and negotiate transactional documents.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience as a commercial healthcare attorney with transactional experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to meet deadlines under significant time pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
