About the position

The Corporate Principle Performance Improvement Specialist is responsible for providing advanced problem-solving and analysis in support of Fleet Nuclear Plant regulatory, performance improvement, and organizational effectiveness areas. This role involves managing and overseeing the implementation of performance improvement programs across various nuclear power stations, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices, and providing regulatory and technical expertise to assist in resolving issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the implementation of performance improvement programs across the fleet.
  • Ensure programs are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide in-depth regulatory and technical expertise to develop and implement activities.
  • Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of fleet and industry projects.
  • Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in business or technical discipline with 8 years related experience, or a two-year degree with 10 years related experience, or 12 years related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in at least one performance improvement program (e.g., CAP, OPEX, SA, benchmarking, INPO, safety culture, PI analysis, organizational effectiveness).
  • Demonstrated understanding of organizational effectiveness concepts and the ability to develop insights and solutions around performance drivers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous Nuclear utility leadership, supervisory, or managerial experience.
  • Previous SRO license/certification.
