About the position

The Copier Service Technician is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing copier equipment at clients' sites. The role emphasizes timely, high-quality, and cost-effective service to ensure client satisfaction. Technicians will troubleshoot and resolve issues, manage inventory, and maintain documentation while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve maintenance and repair issues at clients' locations.
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by meeting clients' needs in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory for tools, parts, and supplies in vehicle stock.
  • Meet established metrics and benchmarks as outlined in the Field Service Manual.
  • Complete technical training on all new equipment as assigned.
  • Maintain current technical knowledge and expand knowledge of new technology and equipment.
  • Represent Marco in a professional manner and adhere to the Copier Field Service dress code.
  • Accurately maintain documentation and service procedures in a timely manner.
  • Attend required company and departmental meetings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma and two years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • An associate degree preferred.
  • Xerox, Sharp, Canon, HP and/or Konica direct service experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License, proof of personal insurance, and an acceptable driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications and Outlook.
  • Technical knowledge of copier equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
