About the position

Position coordinates daily operations of clinical office including patient services, staff supervision, and organizational management.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates patient services providing quality care in efficient and cost effective manner that is congruent with the unique needs.
  • Supervises and backs up support staff, scheduling work assignments to ensure appropriate coverage; hires, trains and evaluates performance.
  • Performs needs assessment for clinic staffing.
  • Provides needs assessment for new surgical and non-surgical services.
  • Assesses efficiency of current marketing strategies (web, print, radio, other) and liaises with third party marketing companies to optimize their efficiency for the practice.
  • Actively engages in and expands our social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and others.
  • Seeks out new practice growth opportunities including office based seminars, events and interaction/collaboration.
  • Assists with implementation of patient flow, patient care and clinic flow protocols including, when needed, revision of website.
  • Maintains and monitors all patient accounts.
  • Evaluates cost of all products and services to ensure that practice is well-positioned economically in the Saint Louis market.
  • Provides reports, analysis and maintains records as required.
  • Coordinates and maintains equipment and supplies ordering when needed.
  • Promotes and maintains effective communications and collaboration within departmental administrators, managers and supervisors.
  • Maintains established policies and procedures and quality control through quality assurance and risk management programs.
  • Assists with clerical tasks as needed including answering phones, computer entry, copies and fax material.
  • Promotes and supports continuous improvement of quality and service to ensure effective clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.
  • Supervisory Office experience (5 Years).
