Responsibilities also include maintaining kitchen cleanliness, proper food storage, operating and maintaining kitchen equipment, assisting with production planning and ordering, and reporting any maintenance needs or accidents. Safety is paramount, with adherence to HACCP standards, proper use of personal protective equipment (like cut-resistant gloves and slip-resistant shoes), and safe lifting techniques.
