About the position

Accurately and efficiently prepares, portions, grills, and presents a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events. The general responsibilities of the position may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements. Safety is self-responsibility. Know the physical requirements of the job and work within those guidelines. Perform job duties safely, using learned body mechanics and transferring/lifting techniques. Plan your actions to promote safety. Report any unsafe situation/equipment according to hospital procedure.

Nice-to-haves

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Previous food service experience.
