Responsibilities

• Be reliable and punctual in reporting for scheduled work
• Maintain a positive work environment
• Begin by helping set up cutters and machine guards
• Check that the cutter turns off and on correctly
• Continuously feed the cutter with raw material, observing for foreign material
• Perform basic maintenance/troubleshooting on equipment
• Change blades on cutters, as needed; requiring use of specialized PPE
• Fill out cut room paperwork
• Assist with daily sanitation clean-up
• Maintain floors free of slip and trip hazards, removing waste materials
• Maintain workspace cleanliness
• Assist supervisor or lead in any assigned task
• Follow basic food safety regulations
• Follow basic safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment
• May require use of electric pallet jack, as needed

Requirements

• Able to lift 70 lbs and push 600 lbs tubs.
