About the position
The Convention Services and Catering Manager at Rosen Hotels & Resorts is responsible for organizing and facilitating all group-scheduled communications with the operating department throughout the hotel. This role involves meeting with guests prior to events to understand their requirements, coordinating all aspects of functions and meetings, and ensuring that all events run smoothly according to the company's high standards of service.

- Meet with guests prior to events to understand their requirements and ensure they are met.
- Coordinate all aspects of functions and meetings, including reserving conference rooms and configuring space.
- Communicate all event details to every hotel department to ensure smooth execution.
- Ensure that all events run as planned and client expectations are met based on Rosen Standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent certificate program.
- At least three years of hospitality experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Effective oral and written communication skills with staff and the general public.
- Proficient computer and technology skills.
