Requirements

5 years of industrial automation experience.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, related Bachelor’s discipline, related degree from a Technical College or equivalent Industrial controls experience.
Excitement around new technologies and exploring new ways to perform work.

Responsibilities

Develop training on various aspects of industrial control systems.
Evaluate new technologies.
Support project delivery teams.
Develop and execute training for Automation Specialists and other technical employees.
Develop BOMs, IO lists, and requirements for control panels.
Develop PLC programs in Ladder, Function Block, and other languages.
Develop human machine interface (HMI).
Develop hardware and software test plans and write simulation logic for the testing of the PLC and HMI system.
Test new products and technologies.
Develop company standards.
Interface with manufacturers and vendors of software.
Address design problems with others as necessary.
Help project delivery teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair programming and system failures.
