About the position

The Controller at Entech Staffing Solutions is responsible for overseeing and managing all financial functions within the organization. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations while leading a team of accounting professionals. The Controller will conduct financial analysis, manage accounting operations, develop budgets, and ensure audit compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of operating costs, variances, and financial performance.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and special studies.
• Monitor key financial metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage and oversee general accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting.
• Supervise the payroll process to ensure timely and accurate payment of employee wages and benefits.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and implement cost accounting standards and procedures.
• Analyze product costs and perform capacity planning to optimize resource utilization.
• Collaborate with operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop annual budgets and forecasts, aligning with strategic business objectives.
• Monitor budget performance and take corrective action as needed.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote continuous learning and development.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Maintain accurate and organized audit documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on financial analysis, cost accounting, and general accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and supervisory skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
