As a Control System Cybersecurity Project Manager, you will be a subject matter expert in cybersecurity for Operational Technology (OT). In this role you will be responsible for leading the successful planning, execution, and delivery of assigned projects across the full lifecycle. You will ensure that project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk are proactively managed while maintaining strong client relationships and promoting repeat business. As the PM you will provide leadership to cross-functional teams, enforce project governance, resolve issues, and drive overall project performance in alignment with organizational and contractual requirements. You will become part of a multi-disciplinary team that advises, implements, and manages cybersecurity and control system solutions for ICS, SCADA, HVAC, Fire Alarm/Life Safety Systems, and Electronic Security Systems. You will work alongside federal clients to help develop and implement risk management programs for their critical infrastructure. This position is REMOTE, but you must be able to travel to client sites 10-20% of the time. The majority of our clients are in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States, especially in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including work breakdown structures, milestones, critical paths, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor progress against baselines and proactively identify schedule risks, variances, and recovery actions.
  • Establish and manage project budgets, cost estimates, labor plans, and financial forecasts.
  • Track actual costs against budget and implement corrective actions when variances occur.
  • Implement and oversee project quality plans, inspection/testing processes, and deliverable reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational and client QA/QC standards, including documentation, configuration control, and change management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the client, stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal leadership.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost through formal change control processes.
  • Lead cross-disciplinary project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Strengthen long-term client relationships through high-quality project delivery and proactive communication.
  • Identify opportunities for add-on services, scope expansion, and future work.
  • Implement risk management and zero trust programs for our federal clients.
  • Enhance cyber awareness with clients and project teams.
  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 8 years of directly related industry experience. A High School Diploma and an additional 5 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
  • Requires at least 5 years of experience managing projects, preferably ICS/OT, facility modernization, engineering, construction, or critical infrastructure projects.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience managing or supervising people.
  • Requires an IAT Level II satisfying certification such as Security+ or GICSP.
  • Must have experience managing Building Automation Systems (BAS) or Industrial Control Systems (ICS) implementation or upgrade projects.
  • Must have experience working with cyber security tools such as Wireshark, Nessus, STIG Viewer, SCAP Tool, etc.
  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Requires strong knowledge of project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.), budget management, and contract administration.
  • Requires a Valid State Issued Driver's License and the ability to travel to various work sites.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance due to our customer requirements and the nature of the work that we do.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • CISSP certification.
  • Experience working with NIST 800-207 Zero Trust Architecture.
  • Experience with the Army Corp of Engineers / Red Horse / Seabee or similar DoD Construction.
  • Experience working with RMF and NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-82.
  • Experience working with UFGS 25 05 11.
  • Experience working with federal agencies, DoD clients, or large institutional owners.
