Employer.com is partnering with a well-funded frontier AI company that is building the next generation of multimodal intelligence with applications spanning video generation, simulation, design, and robotics. Their technology is used by studios, enterprise brands, and developers worldwide. This role involves sourcing and recruiting Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) across the US (Bay Area) and Europe. FDEs operate at the intersection of engineering, solutions architecture, and customer-facing implementation. The recruiter will own the sourcing and recruiting for a specialized FDE build-out, working directly with hiring leadership in a fast-paced environment with minimal hand-holding. Responsibilities include pipeline generation, screening for technical depth and customer-facing orientation, managing candidate experience, and partnering with the hiring team on calibration and process. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for FDEs or similar roles at companies like Palantir, Anduril, Scale AI, Hex, Glean, Retool, Dataiku, and Weights and Biases, or companies selling enterprise AI/data products with FDEs or deployment engineers in their go-to-market strategy. Experience recruiting Solutions Architects or Implementation Engineers at infrastructure or AI companies is also relevant. The role requires in-house tech recruiting experience, focus on US (Bay Area) and/or European markets, comfort in a fast-moving environment with lean process and high ownership, being Bay Area based, available to work from the Redwood City office 3 days per week, and ability to start within 1-2 weeks. This is a contract, W-2 engagement through Employer.com, estimated to be 6 months with potential for conversion. All information will be kept confidential.
