About the position
The Continuous Improvement Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the financial performance, customer satisfaction, and product quality of a leading manufacturer of vertical conveyor systems. This position involves driving cross-functional continuous improvement projects, collaborating with various departments, implementing best practices, training staff on new processes, and developing data-driven strategies for sustainable growth. The role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to motivate teams towards shared improvement goals.
Responsibilities
- Drive real-time work order receipts and material backflushing by establishing a routing and planner code framework.
- Set up the capability for fabricators or assemblers to clock in and out of specific operations.
- Utilize pick lists to identify specific pick locations.
- Maximize use of MRP function within M2K to ensure all materials are on-hand when needed, including demand planning reports and inventory analysis reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Associate's degree in operations, materials management, quality, or continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in process creation and management.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
