Responsibilities

• Value Stream Mapping processes and conducting time studies.
• Leading Kaizen events and creating Standard Work documentation.
• Performing audits and Gemba Walks, and developing PFD, FMEA, Control Plans, and Job Element Sheets.
• Conducting root cause analysis using tools like 5-Why and Cause & Effect Diagram.
• Validating New Product Introductions (NPI) and creating test validation plans.
• Performing Gauge Studies and statistical analysis.
• Utilizing voice of the customer information for decision making.
• Implementing lean manufacturing principles to improve processes continuously.
• Networking with internal and external personnel in the area of expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering) or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related experience and/or training in continuous improvement and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with Toyota Production Systems and mechanical/manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with ISO-9000 and/or TS-16949 Quality Systems is beneficial.
• CQE, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools, especially Excel, Visio, and Minitab.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with machined parts and their manufacturing processes.
• Basic knowledge of general business principles and the impact of Cost of Quality.
